Clear rules on cancellations, refunds and disputes. Your money is held safely until an errand is done.

This policy explains when you get your money back on Dodja Errands and how. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
When you add money, it goes into your Dodja wallet to spend on errands. Wallet money that you added cannot be withdrawn to a bank account. This keeps the platform safe from people trying to move money in and straight back out.
If you added money by mistake, or you are closing your account, contact us. After a review we can refund unused money you added back to the card or account you paid with.
Runners can withdraw what they earn from completed errands, tips and cancellation fees to their own Nigerian bank account, once their identity is verified. The minimum withdrawal is shown in the app, currently ₦1,000.
When you add money, the Paystack card fee is shown before you pay and is added to the amount charged. That fee goes to Paystack and cannot be refunded.
If a runner releases an errand before pickup, it goes back to other runners and your money stays held. If our team cancels an errand, the full budget is refunded to your wallet.
Open the errand in the app and tap Report a problem. Payment is frozen straight away and nobody can release it while we look into it. Our team reviews what happened, usually within 24 hours, and then either refunds you in full or releases payment to the runner. We tell both sides what we decided and why.
Refunds go back to your Dodja wallet, usually immediately, ready for your next errand.
If a withdrawal cannot be sent, for example because of wrong bank details, the full amount is returned to your wallet automatically and we let you know.
If you were charged but your wallet was not credited, contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. We check every payment with Paystack and credit anything that was paid.
